A place that feels like home — because it is.
We’re Josh & Emma — the “J” and “E” behind J&E Meats — and our Farm Store sits right here on the land where we raise our animals, work every day, and raise our family.
When you visit our farm store, you’re not just stopping in to buy meat — you’re stepping into the heart of what we do. It’s where local food, honest farming, and good conversation come together. Whether you’re a longtime customer or visiting for the first time, we want you to feel comfortable, welcomed, and at home.
Everything you’ll find here is thoughtfully produced, carefully prepared, and handled with care — from the animals we raise to the products we stock on our shelves. Our beef, lamb, and chicken are raised right here on the farm, and every cut is prepared on site by our in-house butchers. You truly can’t get closer to your food than this.
Fresh Meat Counter
Our fresh meat counter is the heart of the Farm Store.
Each day, our in-house butchers prepare fresh cuts of 21–25 day dry-aged beef, all individually packaged and vacuum sealed. You’ll also find fresh ground beef, available in any quantity — perfect whether you’re cooking for tonight or stocking up for later.
Take it home to cook right away, or freeze it for future meals — either way, you’re getting meat that’s been carefully raised, aged, and prepared right here on the farm.
You'll Also Find
Beyond the fresh counter, our store offers plenty to explore:
- Specialty cuts like tomahawk steaks, hand-pressed burgers, and seasonal features
- Large, well-organized display freezers stocked with farm-raised meat
- Small-batch, house-made sausages and burgers, prepared on site
We’re proud to have full-time, in-house butchers, which means every cut is aged, prepared, and packaged right here in our on-farm butcher shop. Nothing is outsourced. Nothing is rushed.
Local Goods, Pantry Staples & “Meat Accessories”
We believe great meals are built from more than just great meat — so we’ve stocked our shelves with some of our favourite Ontario-made products to help you pull everything together in one stop.
You’ll find:
- Sauces, rubs, spices, and marinades
- Maple syrup, pickles, and preserves
- Cheeses, butter, and milk
- Locally roasted coffee
- Snacks, mixes, and easy meal helpers
Everything is chosen to complement our meat and make dinner simpler, better, and more enjoyable.

Visit The Farm
We’re a fully operational, working farm. You may see tractors moving, cattle grazing, or animals rotating across cover crops and corn stalks. Our herd grazes along the river flats and often right beside the store.
We don’t offer formal tours at this time, but you can get a great behind-the-scenes look on our YouTube channel.
