A J&E Meats exclusive and one of the most unique products in our freezer.
Our Ancestral Ground Beef Blend is our nose-to-tail take on traditional ground beef — made with 80% of our 21-day dry-aged beef, 10% beef heart and 10% beef liver.
Rich, savoury and surprisingly mild, we've carefully balanced the blend so you get the nutritional benefits of organ meat without the strong “livery” flavour you might expect. The result is a lean, delicious and incredibly versatile ground beef blend that's naturally rich in iron and a source of vitamins B6 and B12.
Use it anywhere you'd use regular ground beef — burgers, tacos, pasta, casseroles, meatloaf and more. Same easy everyday cooking, with a little more packed into every pound.
The name Ancestral is a nod to generations before us who practised true nose-to-tail eating — wasting less, using the whole animal and valuing every part for the nourishment it provided.

Pick-Up & Delivery
To be eligible for $30 local delivery, your order must be $75+ (before tax).
All orders $150+ (before tax) are eligible for free local delivery.
Where We Deliver
We deliver across Chatham-Kent, Lambton, and Essex counties,
including Chatham, Dresden, Wallaceburg, Sarnia, Petrolia, Port Lambton,
Watford, Windsor, Tecumseh, Leamington, Amherstburg, and surrounding areas.
Delivery Day
Our main delivery day is Wednesday. We coordinate timing
with you beforehand, and you do not need to be home—you can
leave a cooler or thermal tote for your order.
Local Pick-Up
All online orders are eligible for pick-up at our farm store located at
29892 Oakdale Rd, Croton, during store hours. You will be
emailed when your order is ready for pick-up. Please ensure your order is
picked up within 14 days of receiving your pick-up
notification.
